Cancer Awareness Program
Cancer remains a significant health challenge in India, with its prevalence steadily rising over the years. According to recent statistics, it is estimated that there are over 1.5 million new cases of cancer diagnosed annually in the country. Among these, breast, cervical, and oral cancers are some of the most common types affecting women, while lung, oral, and stomach cancers are prevalent among men. The burden of cancer is not just limited to urban areas but also affects rural communities, albeit with lesser access to quality healthcare facilities and awareness programs.
Promoting awareness about cancer is crucial for early detection and prevention through – Educational campaigns, Screening programs, Media outreach, Community engagement, Corporate wellness programs and support for care givers,.
The objective is to create awareness, provide emotional and financial support to the patients, celebrate the survivors, honoring the taken and develop an attitude to never loose hope.
