Mrs. B.Amutha Ruby is an MA & M.Sc. Counselling and psychotherapy graduate, with an experience of 15 years in life insurance industry. In the year 2013 she was diagnosed with 4th stage malignant metastatic cancer. Doctors gave her a life expectancy of six to eight months and definitely not more than a year. She underwent 18 rounds of chemotherapies, 25 days of radiations and 3 major surgeries. Her faith in the Almighty God, together with her spiritual acquaintance and positive thinking boosted her confidence to overcome the clutches of this cruel disease and death. Today, she is completely recovered and stands as a testimony to those who look up to her. In 2018 she was blessed with a 3rd baby girl – Mira Ropheka. These days she has devoted herself as a Life Coach to lighten up people suffering from cancer and strengthen them mentally and spiritually.
Mrs. Amutha Ruby continues to collaborate with different NGOs operating with similar social interests to reach their project goals. Also, these days through Mira Foundation she continues to touch the hearts of many lives and inspire the community by providing counseling services for cancer patients, conduct free medical camps, educational support for the needy students, initiatives to spread awareness on – breast cancer among women, child sexual abuse, and women harassment.
Joshna Paul, a remarkable 10th standard student, has been driven by a profound passion for social responsibility and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Witnessing her mother, Mrs. Amutha Ruby, Founder of Mira Foundation, battle stage 4 breast cancer from a young age, Joshna developed a deep empathy for those affected by cancer. Her mother’s courageous struggle and the loss of her grandmother to cervical cancer in 2024, further fueled her determination to create awareness about cancer prevention and treatment.
As a young cancer awareness ambassador, Joshna’s mission is to protect and prevent women from suffering and dying due to cancer. She is particularly passionate about spreading awareness about the importance of HPV vaccination for girls, aligning her efforts with the objectives of Mira Foundation. Through her advocacy, Joshna aims to foster a cancer-free society, spreading hope, love, and support to those affected.
Joshna’s outspoken and leadership-oriented personality has enabled her to effectively communicate her vision and inspire others to join her cause. Her kind-hearted nature and empathetic approach have earned her recognition as a socially responsible individual who is dedicated to making a positive impact.
